Accessing the online publication
Digital issues of Field Mycology produced since 2022 (Volume 23 onwards) are available here at fieldmycology.org, published and maintained by the British Mycological Society (BMS).
We encourage readers to sign up for the publishing notification service using the Register link at the top of the home page. Registration will result in the reader receiving the Table of Contents by email for each new issue published. Registering as a reader also enables the BMS to understand our readership better and see the size of the audience that Field Mycology is reaching. Readers are directed to the publication's Privacy Statement for assurance that their name and email address will be used only for the purposes of the publication.
Previous Volumes (1 to 22) were published for the BMS by Elsevier and are available as an open archive on the publisher's ScienceDirect website.
Accessing the print publication
Access to the digital issues is free to all. There is also an option to purchase print copies from the BMS, by annual subscription. The subscription fee covers the supply of four issues, starting with the next available issue after the date of payment.
Cost of the annual print subscription: BMS members £25 per annum; non-members £35 per annum. More information on how to subscribe to print copies is available on the BMS website.
The British Mycological Society is a registered charity open to all who are interested in supporting, promoting and learning about fungi.
Our Field Mycology journal has moved from being a member-only publication to this open-access platform to reach a wider audience and stimulate greater interest in fungi.
